Knollwood Country Club + Airtel Plaza Wedding | Los Angeles, CA

I am finally getting around to blogging this wedding from early January! This wedding was pretty eventful and featured FIVE wedding dresses by Coco Melody! Read on for the story!
I met Michael and Raffy at their engagement session at Griffith Observatory. We started at the crack of dawn, sunrise actually, and got the most epic photos before the crowd got up. See that session here.
On their wedding day Michael and Raffy got ready at the Airtel Hotel in Van Nuys. Michael's sisters and one close friend were his grooms maids. None of his sisters had a big fancy wedding so he made his wedding their time to feel special too. He contacted Coco Melody and he generously invited the girls to his boutique in downtown Los Angeles to pick out any wedding dress they wanted for the day.
After their portraits at Airtel Plaza Hotel, we headed to Knollwood Country Club for their classic black and white ceremony and reception. Even the guests arrived dressed in black and white!
The ceremony was beautiful and Michael and Raffy spoke their own vows. I proudly support gay marriage and wholeheartedly believe love is love. So this ceremony held a special place for me.
The reception space was decorated impeccably but the highlight of the reception was when Raffy was surprised with a freaking flash mob! Michael joined in with almost all the guests at the reception for an epic choreographed dance on the dance floor.
The night ended with Micheal Jackson's thriller and I couldn't be more thrilled to have been a part of this day. Thank you to Michael and Raffy for having me at such a special wedding.
