Los Angeles Backyard Micro Wedding

Alexis and David had a chill backyard micro wedding at the father of the bride’s house in Los Angeles. They both got ready with their families at the Hilton Universal Hotel in Universal City. We did their first look at the hotel as well.

After the first look we headed to the ceremony where Vibe Florals had decked out the diy handmade hexagon arch with white florals and greenery. I loved the bride’s white bouquet with touches of blush and my favorite anemone flowers. At the reception, another nice touch was the individual charcuterie boxes at each seat by Now Boarding SCV. I seriously still think about how good these boxes were. You NEED these at your next event.

I had visited the house before the wedding day and found a cool staircase at a neighbors house that would have great lighting at the perfect time for sunset photos. If you think there's no where to take pictures on your wedding day, I know I can find a great spot!

One of the good things about having a micro wedding is you are able to splurge on some extra special things. Alexis and David gave everyone a gift bag when they went home along with a yummy mini Nothing Bunt Cake. I ate this right when I got home :) I am also still using a lot of the skin care products from the gift bag!
