San Juan Capistrano Mission Elopement

Last fall I finally got to shoot at San Juan Capistrano Mission in Orange County. Amid the pandemic the couple chose to postpone their big wedding in Mexico a year, but made it official on their original date with just their immediate family.

Their ceremony was held at the San Juan Capistrano Basilica. I loved this grand Catholic Church. It reminded me of all the time I’ve spent in Italy and Spain. Then their formal photos were just next door at the San Juan Capistrano Mission.

The gorgeous bride was made up perfect with the skills of Susy Torices and Refined Beauty Inc. Her flowers from The Bloom of Time in Orange County and princess dress from Lovella Bridal made the bride complete. Hasselblad Studios live streamed the ceremony so everyone near and far could still be a part of the special day.

My favorite part of this wedding was when the bride walked up to the church doors to make her grand entrance. It totally reminded me of Princess Kate’s wedding when her sister, Pippa, fluffed her train before walking down the aisle :)

I’m also happy the bride and groom decided to order a custom album. You can see the photos below. They chose a 12x12 album in a white leather called picket fence.
