Great Gatsby Wedding | South Hills Country Club | West Covina, CA

Jazmine and Ryan had a “Great Gatsby” themed wedding at South Hills Country Club in West Covina, CA last month. “Great Gatsby” was the theme and it was done very tastefully and not too “theme-y.” The colors were black, white and gold but there were no feathers and no one dressed in flapper costumes. It was full of class and the bride, Jazmine did an absolutely beautiful job designing the wedding.

The ceremony was decorated minimally and tastefully. I loved the modern wood arch and the simple babies breath flanking the aisle. Los Angeles Floral Couture added gold leaf accents to the white boutonnière and the brides bouquet. It was just the right amount and gave it such a special touch. The reception was almost all white with white chiavari chairs, white linen and white flowers in gold pedestal vases. The gold embroidered table runners finished the tables so delicately and the gold and black cake by Sweet Lady Jane was perfect.

Even though it was over 100 degrees on their wedding day it did not get anyone down. The bridesmaids giggled as they followed the bride from room to room with a big fan and the groomsmen clanged their icy cold beers awaiting the festivities to start.
